Strong roots, limitless growth

For: Parents (of Y10-14 students)

Please see the POSTER from ADULT social care about the upcoming Learning Disabilities Festival (West) in Harlow next Friday the 19th June.

I would recommend attendance for families where their young person is in Upper School or roughly from age 15/16 upwards, to better equip you to manage the changes that occur as your young person heads towards adulthood and turns 18. There will be teams to support questions around Care Act Assessments, Deputyships, Court of Protection Applications and much more. Come meet the experts!

Additionally for those in or closer to South, there is a session in Canvey Island on Wednesday 17th June.

Enjoy free entry, activities, performances, information stalls and food. A vibrant community day for everyone. Visit the Adult Social Care Eventbrite page to find out more.

Best wishes

Daniella

PS: Remember, provision at Oak View is until the end of the academic year in which they turn 19, not 18 (Year 14.)
