Safeguarding
At Oak View, we are deeply committed to the safety and welfare of every student and staff member, forming the foundation of our school's operations.
Our comprehensive safeguarding framework is supported by rigorous policies and procedures. We utilize CPOMS, a secure system that enables all staff to promptly record concerns and incidents, ensuring vigilant oversight by our Senior Leadership Team. Regular oversight from our Link Governor for Safeguarding includes on-site checks and direct reporting to the Governing Body, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
We prioritize ongoing professional development in safeguarding. This includes thorough induction for all new staff, an annual refresher course for the entire school community, and continuous updates to ensure our team is always equipped with the latest knowledge and best practices.
